Every July the Winchester Jumelage Association welcomes three young adult students from Saint-Germain for three weeks. These students are placed with local businesses or community organizations, and spend the better part of each week working and getting through the day in English. Past students have  volunteered at Bookends, a local law firm, Kidstock Theatre, the Wright-Locke Farm, and BlazeTech, among others. Since 2016, students of political science have been placed in the office of State Representative Michael Day.

Various activities are planned for our students during their stay which, in the past, have included tours of the Museum of Fine Arts, boat cruises in Essex, walking tours of Harvard University, visits to the State House, and so forth. The students are placed with Winchester families, who generally give generously of their time to take them shopping and touring around Boston, New England and beyond. Past students have been treated to canoeing on the Concord River, visits to Old Ironsides, or excursions to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Mansions and harbor of Newport, Rhode Island, and New York City. Many long-lasting friendships have been formed and renewed as hosts visit their students in Paris.

Correspondingly in June, three Winchester college students are hosted for 3 weeks in SGeL. During the day they volunteer at the Mairie, Tourist Office, LesMédiatheques, Laclef Association and other organizations. Their host families provide trips to Versailles, Paris and other historical places. Several organization dinners are planned for them and they are introduced to the SGeL students who will come to Winchester. 

Winchester also supports the exchange of Winchester High School French Class with Saint-Augustin Lycée. This exchange is organized by the French teachers and generally occurs in April and June.
