2018 Rapport Stage Cl\u00e9ment<\/h3>\n

.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> I had the opportunity to do a discovery internship in Winchester, a city near Boston in Massachusetts thanks to the twinning association in this month of July 2018. I would like to thank Mr Miloutinovitch and the entire twinning association for this chance is the second time I go to the US and I still more amazed than the first time. A big thank you to the Gilmer family for hosting me under their roof, I was considered a member of the family. A last thank you to Judy Manzo, Albert Moussa and their teams, and of course to all the people who accompanied on this trip.<\/p>\n

\u00a0I left on Saturday, July 7, 2018 with my two comrades Amaury and Eva and we arrived in Boston after 8 hours of flight. I was supported by Hudson Gilmer and his daughter Saskia who brought me back to Winchester. I visited and discovered the neighborhoods of the city this Sunday and I discovered the sandwich shop of Agostino's where I ate a lot of times during these 3 weeks.<\/p>\n

The following Monday I make my first days at BookEnds. I was quite anxious about being an intern in the United States, my English was not perfect. I quickly found my marks and the staff is so nice that I could quickly integrate and create a place in the team. I worked for 2 weeks in this bookshop before joining the company of Albert Moussa: BlazeTech. I had met Albert at the July 14th party and he offered to come spend a week with his team because the research engineers correspond closely enough to my studies in France. I was given some projects that I had trouble managing despite my determination.<\/p>\n

The schedule was very full with the twinning association. John McConnell showed us around the beautiful Harvard University where he taught architecture a few years ago. The place was sublime. I was lucky to see the Boston Red Socks win against the Toronto Blue Jays with a magnificent Gran Slam, the event was quite impressive. A pool party was organized, it was very nice.<\/p>\n

My host family allowed me to spend time in Canada in their family home, at the home of Catherine's mother, in the middle of nature for a weekend. I did a 10km hike in a kayak on a river near the border with the United States, cut off from the world. The place was magical, and the family really made me feel comfortable, I'm grateful to them.<\/p>\n

In the evening I cooked with Saskia who introduced me to her friends whom she invited from time to time to dinner. We went out to Chinatown with them drinking Bubbles Teas; drink that I discovered on the spot and to which I quickly attached myself. Hudson took us to the beach northeast of Boston where I could taste a lobster sandwich and I think it's a some of the most beautiful things I have ever eaten. To summarize this trip was a success and I fully enjoyed the time spent on site.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\"\"\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"\" \u00a0 \u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n

.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>J\u2019ai eu l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de faire un stage de d\u00e9couverte \u00e0 Winchester, ville proche de Boston dans le Massachusetts gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019association de jumelage en ce mois de juillet 2018. \u00a0Je souhaite remercier Mr Miloutinovitch et toute l\u2019association de jumelage pour cette chance, c\u2019est la deuxi\u00e8me fois que je me rends sur le sol am\u00e9ricain et j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 encore plus \u00e9merveill\u00e9 que la premi\u00e8re fois. Un grand merci \u00e0 la famille Gilmer de m\u2019avoir accueilli sous leur toit, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un membre de la famille. Un dernier merci \u00e0 Judy Manzo, Albert Moussa et leurs \u00e9quipes, et bien s\u00fbr \u00e0 tous les gens qui m\u2019ont accompagn\u00e9 dans ce voyage.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Je suis partit le samedi 7 juillet 2018 avec mes deux camarades Amaury et Eva et nous sommes arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 Boston apr\u00e8s 8h de vol. J\u2019ai bien \u00e9t\u00e9 pris en charge par Hudson Gilmer et sa fille Saskia qui m\u2019ont ramen\u00e9 \u00e0 Winchester. J\u2019ai visit\u00e9 et d\u00e9couvert les quartiers de la ville ce dimanche et j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert la sandwicherie d\u2019Agostino\u2019s chez qui j\u2019ai mang\u00e9 beaucoup de fois durant ces 3 semaines.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Le lundi qui suit je fais mes premiers jours chez BookEnds.\u00a0 J\u2019\u00e9tais assez anxieux \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019\u00eatre stagiaire aux Etats-Unis, mon anglais n\u2019\u00e9tait pas parfait. J\u2019ai vite trouv\u00e9 mes marques et le personnel est tellement avenant que j\u2019ai vite pu m\u2019int\u00e9grer et me cr\u00e9er une place dans l\u2019\u00e9quipe. J\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 pendant 2 semaines dans cette librairie avant de rejoindre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019Albert Moussa\u00a0: BlazeTech. J\u2019avais rencontr\u00e9 Albert lors de la f\u00eate du 14 juillet et il m\u2019a propos\u00e9 de venir passer une semaine avec son \u00e9quipe car les recherches d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs correspondent d\u2019assez pr\u00e8s \u00e0 mes \u00e9tudes en France. Il m\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 certains projets que j\u2019ai eu du mal \u00e0 g\u00e9rer malgr\u00e9 ma d\u00e9termination.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019emploi du temps \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s rempli avec l\u2019association de jumelage. John McConnell nous a fait visiter la belle universit\u00e9 d\u2019Harvard dans laquelle il a enseign\u00e9 l\u2019architecture il y a quelques ann\u00e9es. L\u2019endroit \u00e9tait sublime. J\u2019ai eu la chance de voir les Red Socks de Boston gagner contre les Blue Jays de Toronto avec un magnifique Gran Slam, l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nements \u00e9tait assez impressionnant. Une pool party a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9e, ce fut tr\u00e8s sympathique.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ma famille d\u2019accueil m\u2019a permis de passer du temps au Canada dans leur maison familiale, chez les parents de Catherine la m\u00e8re de famille, au beau milieu de la nature pour un week end. J\u2019ai fait une randonn\u00e9e de 10km en kayak sur une rivi\u00e8re proche de la fronti\u00e8re avec les Etats-Unis, coup\u00e9 du monde. L\u2019endroit \u00e9tait magique et la famille a vraiment fait en sorte que je me sente \u00e0 l\u2019aise, je leur en suis reconnaissant.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Le soir je cuisinais avec Saskia qui m\u2019a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses amis qu\u2019elle invitait de temps en temps \u00e0 diner. On est sorti dans le quartier de Chinatown avec eux boire des Bubbles Teas\u00a0; boisson que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert sur place et \u00e0 laquelle je me suis vite tr\u00e8s attach\u00e9. Hudson nous a emmen\u00e9 \u00e0 la plage au nord-est de Boston ou j\u2019ai pu gouter un sandwich au homard et je crois bien que c\u2019est une des plus belles choses que je n\u2019ai jamais mang\u00e9. Pour r\u00e9sumer ce voyage \u00e9tait une r\u00e9ussite et j\u2019ai pleinement profit\u00e9 du temps pass\u00e9 sur place.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
